More than 40 book titles of Iranian Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) that have either won international prizes or been translated into many languages will be presented to the public visiting Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) 2015.
The IIDCYA is one of Iran’s most renowned publishers of children literature as it has released thousands of books since its founding in 1961.
The newest English catalogue containing the latest book titles of the institute will be handed out among the visitors in Moscow.
Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) was established in 1977 and is an official member of the International Organization of Book Publishers.
The annual exhibition provides both readers and industry professionals with the opportunity to be introduced to the latest literature news and meet many writers.
The event is also a powerful marketing for the book industry, as the fair participants study vital tendencies of the publishing market, strengthen contacts and develop new ties with Russian and international companies and sign contracts.
Last year, publishers from 63 countries participated in this exhibition and Iran put more than 500 book titles on show, including the third and fourth volumes of a well-known Iranian book Good Tales for Good Children by Mahdi Azar Yazdi translated into Russian were showcased, along with Divan of Omar Khayyam presented in five languages and a Russian version of Muslims Knowledge written by Mohammad Reza Hakimi.
The 2015 edition of the fair is scheduled to be inaugurated on September 2 and four days after the opening of the event it will be concluded on September 6.
